Club Referee

Portavogie Rangers FC are inviting expressions of interest for the role of Club Referee.

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic individual who can support the club by officiating fixtures when required.

This role is only required for fixtures where the Northern Amateur Football League (NAFL) is unable to allocate an official referee. The Club Referee will provide cover in these circumstances, helping ensure our teams can fulfil their scheduled fixtures.

The role will involve taking charge of matches in a fair, confident and impartial manner while helping maintain a positive environment for players, coaches and supporters.

This opportunity would suit someone with previous refereeing experience or a good understanding of the game, but we would also particularly welcome interest from anyone who has always considered getting involved in refereeing but perhaps hasn’t known where to start. This could be a great opportunity to get involved, gain experience and build confidence in officiating matches.

Portavogie Rangers FC is a proud community football club, and this is an important supporting role that can help ensure football continues when an official referee is unavailable.
